Historically, TMD coverage has been difficult. Many policies have had exclusions for TMD treatment. Through our efforts we have made strides in this area. We are constantly working to educate and work with insurance companies to obtain coverage. At this time we are contracted with few carriers and are working diligently to become contracted with more.

Since TMD is a medical condition, treatment is covered through medical insurance. If you do not have medical benefits, some procedures can be submitted to your dental insurance.
